i wish i could smile at her anonymously.
Be safe as the street light that illuminates her path home.
My words scar.
like lightning flowing through her veins
no longer comforting her.
So the road becomes my home.
North I shall flee.
Walk till my words don't fall upon your ears.
Then the light of the world will creep in when your wits have gone soft.
you'll smile at him like its the first time.
He'll mutter some lines. nothing poetic but he'll reconstruct ruins.
A new day will dawn.
you'll watch the sun rise wrapped in his arms.
my name forgotten from your lips when your reach his.
your smile, no longer coinciding with mine.
i walk hand in hand with my shadow on a desolate road.
Bare foot and wild.
And I will smile for the freedom you have given me.
because mountains just listen
the sky sees me as an equal
the wind tells me she loves me.
The earth soft and non insulting.
and when the rain falls it purifies.
rhythmic..harmony.
the earths music.
