for the love of rambling
What am I? For if I am just an animal that science tells me should I not weep for my fellow man? Feel no pain for the animals I devour, is lack of emotion true sovereignty. I have come to accept the belief that I’m a human and I don’t understand though when I see such atrocities being committed that if I am of the same species. Funny how we love lions when they tear and devour the carcasses of lesser appreciation. The atom to me is as significant as god. Split it and take a million lives. We can fuel the world off the same thing that can destroy it. Wars waged over the smallest of things. Power, what a great word, energy to fuel ourselves, this world these disputes, all for this notion that we are an engine and need to stay in motion. I take comfort in the retirement of my machinery. Accepting the truth of death is somehow beautiful. Sitting in the dark with imagination firing like pistons and particles fighting for existence, I am at peace. The world may end life as we know it can be loosed. Should I be upset? What is one more body amongst foundations? Is time measured in the bodies buried? The numbers and their stranglehold on the human race is daunting. Measuring one another with our collection of numbers, the problems that are solved by certain numbers. The society we live in is built of bodies that lived before. The flesh is what keeps us animal, the emotion is what makes us holy. That you recognize how fucked up the world is is a good thing, so don't let it rule you. This is the hand that we have been dealt, but the choice is yours. To numb yourself to the atrocities, or to rise above them. They do not define you. They are not YOU. The comparison of animals to spiritual beings, there is no comparison, they are completely different dimensions Jake, yet they live side by side. Your spirit will always be there, no matter how many times you succumb to your ego, to your animal, your spirit will always be waiting for you to come back around. The world needs more people like you Jake. God, or whoever, the great energy that resides, did not create us to be of the animal, he created us to rise above, and to realize, the world might be fucked up, but I AM the one who survived this 14 billion years, I AM conscious, I AM ALIVE! Keep going in your direction, stay positive, know it DOES get better, because when you feel all the hate in the world, you feel all the love in the world too. And there are alot of fucked up things, but the goodness is spreading like wildfire, let me tell you, there is something happening in the world right now that is unfathomable to the egoic mindset, trust that, feel that. keep on keepin on jake, i believe in you.
