The problem I see is that their is two extremes going on in surfing. Their is the super jocks that train 3 times a week and take surfing just a bit too seriously. and then you have the opposite modern era that might take away from surfing by trying a little too hard to be different. I personally think surfers like Conner and Parker Coffin are a good medium of the two. They have a edgy side but still are competitive. I due note though that the modern clothing style seems to help with the ladies. Never forget though that the beautiful thing about surfing is that no matter how you choose to express yourself we still can share the common bond of the love of the ocean.
