Watching round 3 of the Pipe contest this year was one of the greatest clutch moments I've ever seen in sports. Derek Fisher's magic 3 pointer might not even be close to Dusty Payne's 9.87 with a half a second to go. Dusty falls he's off the ct, makes it and he sends Fanning home and has another year on tour. Personally, I get super nervous in heats and can't seem to land anything when I need to. So for Dusty to pull that off with his dream on the line is huge !!! Good on Dusty and excited to see him surf a full year on tour. Downside of this is that Julian Wilson doesn't qualify for the ct' :( teenaged girls around the world are crying.
